So with the features available in all the different text apps on android. Which apps have the best features above the normal text features found on native devices?

I'm looking for a new one and would like to which is the best.

List your favorite and the features you feel seperate it from the pack.

I didn't say free. If textra is the best, what kind of poor are you not to pay for something you consider the best?

dunno what kind of poor i am, but im not gonna pay for something when there are similar products out there that do basically the same thing for free.

that is just fiscally irresponsible.

You said it's your favorite. Something about it makes it your favorite. Hence the OP!

So there aren't anyvthay do the same or else textra wouldn't be your favorite.

i will say that if it is a subscription for textra, i will move to a new app. if it is a .99 flat fee, i will likely pay it.

I've tried just about all of them and finally went with Chomp. Been using it for 6 months or so and really like it.

G damn dude! Answer the OP or haul arse. SOMETHING made it your favorite!

I do so much biz over my phone thru email and text, I would pay hundreds per month to make sure I have the tools needed on my phone to do what I need.

My daughter had over $50 on iTunes this month, and you expect us to care if it costs a $1/mnth more to text on an app that would do everything I need?

What does Chomp do, or maybe it's easier to list what it doesn't do well.

I think the most i would pay for it would be a flat rate of $3. if it is a .99 monthly subscription, i don't think it would be worth it.

Textra,

I like the custimization of color schemes, but what really got me from the stock app was the ability and ease of pictures etc. I can attach as many as I'd like to one text instead of sending 10 texts with 2 pictures each in them.

Textra is my favorite because it is simple and easy to use. I like the customization as well.

As of late my Textra app keeps telling me the MMS settings stopped working and over half the time it won't send a picture. Anyone can help with this?

Using ATT
I have Default for delivery reports checked (no clue what this means)
Send size- No Limit
Prefer Wifi checked
Activate mobile data checked
Tmobile setting unchecked
Manually configure APN unchecked.

Someone know what the deal is?
