I'm shopping for a family tablet for internet browsing, emails, music, and movies. I've ruled out Apple due to lack of expandable storage and the MS Surface 4 is a little pricey for what I need it to do.
So I think I'm set on Samsung, but Best Buy has over 50 different models (Newegg shows over 300) and I'm clueless where to start. What's a the latest generation, higher end models that I should consider? I need at least 64gb of internal storage. Thanks to all.

My Samsung Galaxy Tab S I got a year ago is still as good as the day I got it. Haven't even looked at what has come out since.

You can get a 32 GB Nexus 9 for $279 today. If that size is good for you, it will be hard to beat as a media consumption device that is not an iPad. I personally think 32GB is plenty for a tablet, but this won't work if 64GB is a hard spec for you.
