Looking for a device that I can use as:
1. Desktop for working at home
2. Laptop for work travel
3. Tablet for web browsing (not necessary, but would be nice)

Looking at the Surface Pro 3 as a potential solution for all of the above.

Anyone have thoughts on this strategy? Or alternative recommendations?

I asked the same not too long ago.

I still haven't made the purchase, was hoping to see if Apple was going to make an iPad pro with the same idea behind it.

Got one for work . Really like it. Great for a travel computer since my other laptop is more of a work station. Also take it to meetings to take notes on

I'd love for this to exist.

I love it as a laptop replacement. Windows 8.1 leaves a lot to be desired as a touch screen, tablet OS. I use it almost exclusively with the keyboard/touchpad, as opposed to the touchscreen.

I got my gf a Lenova Thinkpad Yoga a while back. Had a board issue that they knew about and fixed, no questions asked, in 5 days. Other than that hiccup, it has been perfect. I will probably be getting one as soon as money allows
