$250 still seemed kinda low to me. i was looking last month and they were around $350-$400.

yeah. im not really familiar with that website but that looked like someone was selling a used phone.
maybe he just means new to him and not a phone that is new in the sense it's never been used. in which case that would work.

i've bought probably 10 phones off swappa, every one of them was in perfect condition.
site is self-policing but if you would rather pay retail + tax + shipping for a product you'll probably drop in 6 months or replace in a year, be my guest.

i understand the seller claims the phone is in very good shape but that is still a used phone. No real way around it. It's not new.

It's like I kicked your dog or something. No phone with a previous owner is new, despite what description the seller puts. It may be a viable option and worth buying. But it's not new. To argue otherwise is just nonsensical.
