Soundbar recommendations?

I'd like to keep the cost to $300-$350 and am not above refurbished items. I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to audio purchases.

I see that doesn't come with an hdmi port. Guess that isn't exactly a must.

Not a must for a $300 soundbar. I doubt you would find one that would pass 4K.

I just got the Samsung HW-J470.
I had a full 7.1 system in my old house, so wanted something with rear speakers to still get somewhat of the full surround effect.
I'm happy with it. The sub doesn't boom, which i like b/c i can watch a movie a full blast and it doesn't impact wife or kid sleeping upstairs.

Admins, can we sticky or put together an uber-thread where these discussions are sub-threaded through them? This board sees threads about sound-bars, indoor/outdoor theater set-ups and laptop recommendation threads multiple times/week and there's a plethora of information that's been provided by folks that obviously just won't use the search function on TD...
