Peerblock is good, but not great. If you want something definite, your best bet is to buy a VPN. I use Astrill and I think it's like $6 a month. I like Astrill because you simply download the program and turn it on. I'm sure other VPN services are just as easy.

If you're lucky enough to get an invite to a private site, you probably dont need either. But personally I'd still use a VPN just in case the wrong party got invited to the site. I still use piratebay/kat so I have to run a VPN.

I'm on iptorrents but I don't have any invites. I don't think it's that hard to get one though. I use ExpressVPN and it works great. There are a bunch of different locations to log on from so it also helps when streaming Netflix from other countries.
