Exploring the idea of installing a smart garage controller. Anyone have this? Best brand?

I got this one from Amazon back in September GoControl Z-Wave
Easy to install. Works with my Samsung SmartThings hub and opens automatically when I get close to the house. No problems with it so far.

Go with the Chamberlain MyQ platform. Chamberlain dominates the Garage Door Opener marketplace (70% market share) with unparalleled quality.

Checkout Craftsman. They are rebranded Chamberlain openers. I bought this 1/2hp belt drive opener and it came with all the myQ upgrades for free.

$179 plus about $75 in free upgrades.

Craftsman

Going on 4 weeks and it is great. The craftsman app has worked flawlessly

Easy 2hr install by myself

I've had the Liftmaster MyQ 888LM and 828LM for a while. I also have a couple of the 823LM light switches. My only complaint is that the light switches don't work with Wink, the garage door opener does. They recently added timers for the light switches to the MyQ app, so that reduces the need for Wink. I'd like to have my kitchen light come on at sunset, which Wink can do, but I have the MyQ app set to turn it on at 5:00.
