I'd like to find an SD Antenna that is capable of providing a digital signal to my HDTV but incapable of HD quality.

Everyone references all the HD antennas they buy but they mention it as if it's an option to a non HD antenna.

Please link me to this non HD antenna please!

You know, you could just tell people that an antenna is an antenna without being a dick about it.

It kind of bothers me, too, that people refer to them as "HD", but can you blame them when manufacturers market them as such?

I've heard that if you shove a paper clip in your eye you'll see in SD. Only way to know for sure is if you try it.

SD antennas can't receive HD signals unless you purchase the upgrade license.

The over the air HD signals are within the UHF band and vertically polarized.

That means all you need is a UHF antenna from 1948-present to receive HD channels.

Several are in the high VHF range in BR, Laf, and LC. Many UHF antennas will still pick those up, but not all will.. However many older outdoor antennas were VHF only.
