I received the oculus from Samsung and I have no idea what I'm doing! Anyone have any cool (free) things that are a must download for this thing?

There's lots of free content. There's a free content tab in the store. Just click, download, and play.
Pay content is quite cheap anyway. $1-$9 I think. I haven't messed with mine lately. The games are usually pretty short.

I wanted to get a Samsung Oculus for my wife for Christmas but it does not support our old Galaxy Note 4 phones.
I ended up having to get her some VR glasses by Stark instead. She used them and is happy with them.
