If you're getting one that big, it might as well have a stylus.

It's not worth it, the specs are out dated. Badly.

my dad has one and he likes it. We both have huge hands so I thought it was a Note 3 at first glance. It's really not that big IMO and he enjoys it.

Like others have said though, the specs are a little dated (if you're into that kind of thing)

The mega came out over a year ago. As someone said earlier it has horrible specs in comparison to other Samsung phones.

Info on the Mega 7 (Mega 2.0) coming out later this year leaked yesterday

quote:

The purported handset is expected to sport a faux leather rear-back cover, just like the Galaxy Note 3. On the spec front, the Galaxy W ( Galaxy Mega 2 7.0) is said to come with a 720p display, a quad-core 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 processor, 1.5GB of RAM, an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 2-megapixel front-facing shooter, and 8GB of on-board storage, and a microSD slot. The phone will run on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean

Still some crappy specs for such an oversized phone.

Is the Note 3 a better choice?

Yes. Better camera, screen resolution, faster processor, double the amount of ram, etc

We are 2 months out from the release of the Note 4, and it is the phone I am waiting for. I am interested to see if they will incorporate their Youm flexible display tech into it.
