There's a concert coming up on Yahoo! Live I'd really like to rip. Is there a free way to rip the proshot video/audio of these things at their source quality? I'll be at the show, so I plan to rip the rebroadcast. For example, here's the rebroadcast from last night: Livenation Re-Broadcast

And no, I am not trying rip the Rickey Martin stream!

For ripping audio I use Piezo on OS X. Not sure about ripping video though.

I've been using WireTap Studio for audio and love that (Though i had to add some work arounds for Yosemite), but getting a true source video and not just a screen capture has been troubling me.

Not sure but I have been able to record a stream from WatchESPN using VLC before. It was not very good but I was just fricking around on a cheap gateway.

I use firefox with two extentions. Download helper and YouTube downloader. Works like a charm. Gives you the options to rip any format and resolution the source is broadcasting at.

I removed download helper from my first post because it didn't work on the test link he sent.
