Seems pretty pricey for a wifi camera with a bell attached. Now if you added some more bells and a few whistles...

You can get foscam cameras for cheaper methinks...

I often wonder where tech is going. I could foresee some of this stuff being seen as ridiculous 10 years from now as much as I could see it as being universal.

Until then I replaced my doorbell with a $5 one off Amazon.

I'm not sure when I'll jump into this sort of stuff for my house. Probably on the next one I suppose.

If you think RING looks interesting, check out SkyBell. I believe they cost less.

It’s a convenient way to monitor and secure your home at any time of day with features such as motion detectors and night vision. You can even check to see if deliveries have been left at your front door.

RING and Skybell are both leading companies in this space.

Do any of these record when motion sensors go off? Like to see who comes on your porch?

Also, i assume if they do...it goes to cloud storage.

This would be great for NOLA people....security wise.

RING requires no wiring where as Sky Bell is not entirely wireless. Other then that I didn't see many big differences
