Just got a surface book and heading to san diego next week for work. Is there an easy way to rent movies for offline viewing like you do with iTunes?

How do you like it man? Been intrigued by this and the new Surface Pro.

ETA: I think you can rent these in the Windows Store and download them.

so far i only have one major complaint, that there is probably a solution for. The skype app will not go go out of full screen in tablet mode thus the keyboard hides the text area. Super frustrating.

other than that, it's fantastic.

Did you upgrade your OS out of that "Windows S" or whatever it's called?

Get the accompanying keyboard - place both items in a protective notebook sleeve (using it like a notebook) and you won't have that problem.

Did you get the Surface Pro 4? Did you know the next generation will be released June 15?

I actually figured out just to not go in to tablet mode when I undock the screen. It's a preferable solution for me, may not be for everyone, but I don't like everything being full screen in tablet mode. I got the Surface Book Performance Based. I didn't have a choice, I started a new job last Monday and needed something, boss bought it for me.

Son of a... well congrats, yea that's a nice machine. I've always wanted one but can't justify the price. Also, I was always curious about that hinge and how it works real time when flipping the screen around.

ETA: Did you ever figure out a way to download a movie or 2 offline?

That is the new one. I was mistaken, I didn't think its release date was for a couple more weeks.

Outstanding!
