Whats the easiest way to remove images from a PDF?

I usually just edit text and images in Acrobat. Doesn't work on a shitty scan though

PDF Xchange Viewer is free and allows you to edit PDFs. I don't know that you can remove the image but you could use the "Rectangle Tool" with a white fill to hide the image. Then you can re-print the page to PDF so no one can edit the rectangle fill.

Open the .pdf in Photoshop, do what you want, save.
