Some channels are experiencing issues, you may not be able to play live content. We are aware of the situation and we are working to get it resolved as soon as possible. As an alternative to watch the Cubs/Dodgers game, you may use the Fox Sports Go App or website. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Can't watch the baseball game which is the sole reason I paid for a month. Trying to get customer service for the last 1 1/2 hours.

Never had this issue with Sling......an occasional buffer but a dead channel, nope.

Frustrating, for sure. What device are you watching on? The Fox Sports app is working fine on Fire TV for me.

FiretV...I have 3 of them and none have a working FS1. Other channels work though.

I found the game on Kodi.

My Vue crashes at least once a day. And I have an Arris Motorola modem paired with a Nighthawk router. Everything on my network is solid except Vue.

I have a Netgear modem/router that's a couple years old and Vue/Netlfix etc all work fine on Fire TV. Vue has glitched a couple times overall but in the few months I've had it I have been very happy.

You can get pissed but I'd bet 95% of people on this board that use Vue have had little to no problems and have mostly positive stuff to say.

Thats why I started the tread. All I hear is how great Vue is but it obviously isn't great for everyone. They had a message on their web site after about an hour and half saying they knew there was an issue. But for that hour and a half, I was trying to get customer service with no luck and their network status checker said everything was hunky dory. I am as big a Dodger fan as a Tiger...can you imagine if the LSU game was unwatchable?

Use Kodi and the Flawless-IPTV add-on.

I'm a Vue cheerleader. I had problems tonight as well, and I think it was widespread. Only other time I've had a problem since I've had the service was when I upgraded my package to get NFL Network and it took about 2 hours for it to finally authenticate. Growing pains I suppose; still a great value for the cost IMO.

I got Playstation Vue a week ago. No issues, so far. Started out using the Fire Stick. Worked OK, but had a couple of times where the TV had buffering issues.

I replaced the Fire Stick with a Roku Premiere+. No problems, whatsoever. I watched the Dodger's game on FS1.
You can rest easy. The Dodgers won.

My big issue with Sling is that the stations they offer aren't good for me. Obviously, you would be using Sling to watch the game if it worked for you. I need CSN NW in order to watch the Blazers games. Sling doesn't have it.

I cancelled mine and went back to Sling. Way too many issues and terrible customer service.

I did the free trial to check it out. I didn't like the interface at all.

I've had Vue for several months now and this was the first time I've had a problem like this. I had the same problem with FS1. That said, you should always remember that Vue is a service provider and you can use your credentials to log into the different apps. So I just hopped on the Fox Sports Go app and that worked fine for me. And then I got to watch the cubs stink it up and wound up going to Netflix anyway.

I haven't seen an explanation yet on what the issue was though. As it seems to have just been that channel, I'd assume it was something to do with the Feed from Fox Sports to Sony's infrastructure.

I'm paying $35 a month for a product that would typically be $120+. I'll take that price mark for the rare instance that it acts up and I have to go to a specific app.

There's been 1 or 2 issues with Vue since I started with it over 7 months ago.

It seems one of your major complaints here is not being able to contact customer service.

If they stated on the site that there was a known issue, what did you expect customer service to do for you via telephone?

LSU fans feel this way about the 2nd half already

eta: Vue is not perfect. It's been overall great for me but it will probably go down more than your average cable. Sony sucks at online networks. They have this problem with PlayStation more than their competitors. With that said they have gotten better and for the price I am willing to deal with it being down every few months. It's much better than the shitty netflix app on Fire TV.

And since most channels now offer some sort of stand alone app that required credintials, you can always fall back on that.

Not to Hijack but do you get the constant failed to play this content message on netflix?

One of my Fire TVs will do this and one won't. I have to keep hitting play. Eventually it works.
