I am on a work-site and we will not be getting our normal full size printer/scanner.

I am looking to buy a printer for my office.
1) Pretty quick
2) Prints on both sides of a page
3) Color is a plus, but not necessary
4) At or below $400

Any suggestions?

No need to spend that much. The Canon D530 B/W printer/scanner/copier does everything you need. Watch the sales at NewEgg and you can find one for under $75. I've been using it for over a year now and it's the best printer I've ever owned.

If you are in a company that is large enough to have an IT department, make sure it is their preferred brand that they support.

I work for GE. We have a discount at Staples. I can spend whatever I want (my supervisor asked to be at or below $400).

It is basically going to print a decent amount daily, the cheap ole cannon I have now is slow as hell.

The d in the model number means it prints duplex (both sides). The n means it can connect to network.
