im late to the party and a novice on these things, but is there a way to play old school games on my iphone 7?
i read online and it started going into emulators and changing your phones date back to 2012 and it never worked.
BTW id prefer not to jailbreak if at all possible. TIA

No way to do it without jailbreaking. If fact, when I had it on my jailbroken 5 it was a giant POS. All of it. The interface, the controls... just terrible.

Join the builds.io store. Basically you pay $10 a year to join their developers license so you can help "develop" their apps or basically just install emulators.
This is done without jail breaking.
The emulators up to the gameboy advance/snes/genesis generation worked fine for me. It's $10 per udid, if you get a new phone you have to pay for access again.

There is currently no Jailbreak out so the only way to play these emulators is what Dam Guide said.

It's been forever since I was running emulators on a jailbroken iPhone, but I was using a wii controller for the games. It worked pretty well. Are wiimotes still supported by iPhones\ios?

Do this. In addition to emulators you can also install Kodi, Cartoon HD, Moviebox, etc for movies and TV Shows.
