How can i recover old iMessage and pics in those text messages that i have deleted the conversation of. I can find the text on my mac using spotlight and pull them up, but the images only show an icon with IMG_ and the image number and when i click on it, it brings me to the file transfer window. Is it possible for me to still view these pics? thanks

Do you have an old backup of the phone maybe? You could possible restore a different phone then save them that way, but if you deleted the message then i think it is gone

Actually, if the data have ben overwritten, you have the chance to get back the message via the third party recovery tool, and a previous iTunes backup/iCloud backup could also be helpful.
