Picked up a Mohu Leaf 50 today from Best Buy to watch to game and I can't believe how good the picture is, I mean I had heard about it but until you actually see how good it is...And the antenna just sits behind the TV in the mount so you don't see it at all.

The Genesis app is what I am using to watch televised content.
Is there a way to save searches or favorite TV shows with the Gensis plugin?

most kodi apps have a context menu when you hold down the "menu" button, depending on which platform and remote you're using. then click "add to favourites." yes it's spelled with a U. they'll be saved under the "my genesis" folder and in "favourites" under the movie and tv show folders.

I have heard on Cox if you Just get the internet you get basic channels through the cable as well if you hook them to a tv, is this true ?
This is true for a lot of people, but it may not be true for everyone. Cox's cable lines were made for cable TV. The cable TV signal must be constantly transmitted over the lines in order for the cable to work on TVs without boxes. When you are an internet-only customer, you still are connected through that same cable line that TV signals are being transmitted over.
They are supposed to install a filter that blocks the analog frequencies that cable TV is broadcast over. But if you cancel your cable and go bring in your box to the Cox office, they're probably not going to bother to schedule someone to drive out to your place to they can filter out your cable TV signals.
They do sometimes though. When I was living in a small apartment building near LSU, I ordered internet service only from Cox and since the previous tenant's service had not yet been disconnected they didn't bother to come out to make changes. I was paying for internet only and getting tons of channels for free, which was great for a kid in college.
One day I pull into my parking spot and spot a Cox van driving away. All of the doors in the building had little paper flyers around the doorknobs saying that Cox had done work in the area and if we had any problems to call such-and-such number. I turned on the TV later and... cable TV gone! Filtered out.
After a little digging, I don't think it is. My brother and I both are thinking about cutting the cable cord, and just using our parents Dish login for many of the Apps like ESPN, for the LSU games.
Other than that, we have everything we need between Netflix, HULU, and KODI, side loaded on Amazon (Prime) Fire stick.

This is interesting, I had wondered about it. I dropped my digital cable but kept internet (and since it was only an extra $18 per month, kept basic cable). It made sense so I didn't have to buy antennas for extra TV's etc.
My brother did the same, only he didn't keep cable at all, and he still receives it.
So to recap, if I remain an internet customer, they will have to come to my house to remove "basic cable"?
I may cancel and roll the dice, thoughts?

Ok, so in the very near future I am going to Cut my U-Verse out. Im guessing switching to Cox for Internet is my best bet ? As U-Verse only offers to 20 in my area. I have a Fire TV set up and in use already as well as an Old Logitech Revue for the Bedroom. We use laptops, computers, tablets and phones on the WiFi. They boast that they have a good in home wifi setup for muliple devices, is it adequate and do I need higher than the 50 plan ?

From what I've been told, 50 is perfect. It sounds like you're in the same situation as I am.
