I have a TV on my patio and have yet to buy cable for it. I have a Google Chromecast so I watch Netflix, ESPN, and HBO out there but want to know my options when it comes to the NFL season.

Should I just buy cable? A Fire Stick? Or is there a stream option ?

Oh and I have Verizon on my phone if that matters.

The NFL Network was just added to PS Vue tonight if you have the Core or Elite package. Then you can pay a one time fee of $39.99 to get NFL RedZone for the season.

The service works with PS4, PS3, Fire tv, Fire stick, Roku, and Chromecast.

Sling TV has it as an add on in one of their packages. You can get it for $30 a month

The $30 price includes the Sling Blue package. Redzone is part of the Sports Extra add-on which is $5/month.

I think the add on for the package is $30, including the other sports channels, etc.

It's all the same

$10 more for Sling and $30 for the season for Vue

I haven't used Kodi since last football season. Is there sportsdevil feeds for redzone?

Usually there are but they can be hit or miss. I'm going to see if I can use my dad's Directv account to stream NFL games and Redzone to my computer, tablet, or phone. So if you know someone who has Sunday Ticket Max see if they'll let you use their login. A good free option last year was r/nflstreams. This preseason the streams haven't been that great but last year for the regular season there were a lot of good choices so hopefully that is the case this season.

not exactly. unless you plan on giving up ESPN channels as well.

Sling Orange (Disney affiliated)
Sling Blue (FOX affiliated)

To get NFL Network, Redzone, and ESPN for football season. You'll have to get the Sling Orange & Blue combo package for $40/month. Then add the Sports package for an additional $5 a month.

You can't mix and match the Sports packages. I've tried. I've emailed support. And I wasn't willing to pay $45 a month for it and only be able to stream on 1 device. So, I went PS Vue.

Yea, I get that. but she was just asking about redzone. Me personally, I can do without ESPN but thats probably gona change.

Either way its still better than having cable. Even if it is really glitch at times.

It sounds like she is already watching ESPN so he wouldn't need that package anyway

Vue is fricking awful on fire stick. If this what you want to do i highly recommend just paying the extra money for the Fire TV over the stick. Dont know about the other devices. Vue is pretty legit. just not on the fire stick

I don't have any issues with the stick, myself. Try changing your channel on your router to see if maybe you have interference from a neighbor.
