When I first got the phone, battery was amazing. Now almost every minute of stream will take 1 percent of battery. I just lost 3 percent in 2 minutes browsing TD. I have no clue what to do. I did a factory reset when the battery issues began a couple of months ago. After the last small update, the battery was back to normal for 2 days. Now it is terrible again. Should I send it back to Huawei?

id send it back personally.

but ive heard facebook apps cause sever battery drain, so if you have those installed it might be worth removing and then testing if it improves.

/r/nexus6p has a lot of info about battery problems and fixes

Just deleted Facebook, Facebook messenger, and snapchat. I am planning on sending it back next week.

I am having issues as well, I am lucky to get 3 hours of screen on time with my 6p. And those 3 hours aren't video games or streaming video.

I think you have a year. I got mine in November.

You may need to wipe your cache. Check out these instructions I posted in another thread

I was having similar battery issues and this cleared it up.

I did that when you posted it. It didn't help.

Interesting. I just did the cache wipe so we will see if it helps.

I've had mine since November as well. If this doesn't help then I will be very interested in the process of trying to get a new phone to see if my battery problem is solved. I've talked to coworkers that have this phone and use it more intensely than I and still get better life.

Yeah, I charge for a few minutes here and there, but I don't notice any dropoff from my Note 4.

I don't stream video much though.

I get between 6-7 hours SOT. But I'm rooted on CATA/Franco.

6-7 hours is impressive. Is that Internet browsing, gaming, or what?

Not much gaming. Just web browsing, maybe some video streaming, Pandora, etc.
