Nexus 6P and 5X, $50 off

The 5X has been on sale from different merchants including Google but this is the first price reduction I've seen on the 6P. I already have a Frosty 64GB but this is a great deal for those on the fence.

This is cheaper than an iPhone, you are just looking at the un-subsidized price or the non-financed price.

Just FYI it's also $50 off on the google fi site, which lets you finance it if you sign up for fi service.

I did this with chase/google during the $80 black Friday sale. I have the 5x.
It was a HUGE pain in the arse. I screenshotted everything (the sale on the google store site, my credit card statement showing the original purchase, email confirmation showing the original sale) and filled out the price protection form and sent it to Chase.
I heard back about a week later telling me i had to first attempt to use Google's price protection. If they refused to price protect or didnt offer it only then would chase's price protection kick in.
So i contact google and they didnt offer price protection. But the real kicker is they refused to email Chase and let them know (Chase wanted something in writing from google).
I figured i was F'ed at that point but the Chase worker assigned to my case ended up calling Google and confirming they didnt offer price protection. My $80 is supposedly in the mail.
Long story short...good luck dude. After all of it i wasnt even sure it was worth the $80. It was several emails and quite a few 15+ minute calls.
