Network question: Nexus 7 and one computer not connecting to internet

I have a desktop computer with Ethernet into router and a Nexus 7 that will connect to router but not get to the internet. I have an ipad and other desktops and devices wired into the network and they all work. WHat is preventing the two devices from connecting to the internet?
I have done a ip flush and renew on desktop. Also renewed lease on both devices. Any suggestions?
