I'm moving offices and I need a new scanner and a printer. I found a Fujitsu scanner for $400 that's in the running (ScanSnap IX 500). The quality of the "picture" needs to be great and a guy in my office has that one and it works perfectly. I was just wondering what other options are out there for the same price or lower.

Now, the printer. I don't know really where to start. I don't need one of those ridiculous $1,500 printers that are a piat. Just a decent printer. Is ink still a thing or is it better to do laser? I don't mind spending a good bit if it's worth it.

I thank the gentlemen of this board in advance.

I'll look it over but I don't want to waste your time. I just don't see the point in going through someone when I can just ask this board, imo.

Man it takes 3 mins. Everyone on here can give you great options. You can go to a box store, get a good machine that will satisfy your needs. Buy another one in two years, and another one two years later. Spend outrageous amounts on ink that you don't need. Mine will still be working six years or best case your business has grown and you need bigger unit. We grow with you.
