Meetings in Outlook

I'm having an issue where meeting invites that I essentially ignore are no longer showing up on my Outlook calendar. These should appear as tentative or gray/ghost on the calendar.
If I reply to the e-mail as either accept or tentative, it appears as it should.
Has anyone else ever had this issue or know how to fix it?
Yes, I googled. Didn't find what I was looking for.

Would need to know what outlook you are using, and are there any mobile devices involved. Need to delete the accounts in quaestion from the mobile devices to start troubleshooting with only the outlook client on the computer. If I need a corporate environment And there is webmail access start there to see I feel the symptoms show there first.

They are in your trash if you decline the meeting invite

I have this issue as well but only on my phone, they still show up on my desktop outlook. I haven't found a solution.

The process meeting request is controlled by the Sniffer for Outlook. When a meeting request arrives in your Inbox, Sniffer automatically adds the meeting to your calendar and marks it as tentative.
If you or a rule that you create moves an incoming meeting request from your Inbox before the Sniffer can process the request, the meeting never appears in your calendar.
