Looking to switch from iOS back to Android

I've got an iPhone 6 plus at the moment..it's pretty solid but nothing incredible--good battery life and a pretty good camera. I think I just miss the customization with Android(i used to have a Galaxy Nexus back in the day)--being able to change literally everything to your liking, something you can only do and do only to an extent on iOS via Jailbreaking.
I'm looking to get something in September that has a better camera than the 6 Plus as i do a lot of photography while traveling--as well as something extremely fast and with great battery life. I'm considering the Note 4--it looks awesome, as well as the next Nexus when it comes out. Not really sure if the One Plus 2 will be up to par but it looks interesting... Anything worth waiting on?

I thought the 6 plus had great battery life myself.
I'd wait to see the new nexus phone or phones this year. Moto style or pure or whatever looks to be the phone to beat imo

Yeah it does and iOS 9 will probably make it better. I guess i just consider that the standard.

Yup. Not sure with the rumored Huawei Nexus but i'd check it out anyway. Even heard of a rumored Surface Phone which would be incredible if true even though i normally hate windows phones

It does. Apple claims an hour. Based on running the beta I don't doubt it.

Moto X pure or Nexus line. I'm gonna stick with my rooted LG G3 for a while because of 3 things:
Expanded memory
Removable battery
Wireless charging
I've grown quite fond of having these options and will wait for a phone that offers them. I've seen that the new Moto X will have memory expansion and rapid charge, but don't see options for removable battery and wireless charging.

The Moto X doesn't have wireless charging because it has the custom backplates, so if the new one is like the previous versions and the back is customizable it won't have it again.
Removeable batteries is just something you'll have to get over, won't be around on any flagship phone for much longer, all about turbo charging and as someone with a N6 that has it and a turbo car charger, it's phenomenal.

I don't want to get over it damnit!!
No really. I'm almost positive I'm going with the LG Nexus 5 2015 if it comes out late September early October. As long as the rumored specs hold true, I'd bite at that price point. If not, my G3 is still a beast and gives me no reason to upgrade actually.

N5 2015 would be a solid choice. I had the N5 until the N6 came out and had no complaints... LG did a good job with it and I'm sure they will with the refresh too.
That's what I would get myself, if all/most is true.

LG is making the nexus? Or maybe they are coming out w/ two variants and one being Huawei? I'd definitely look into an LG Nexus

Huawei will be the Nexus 6 with 5.7 screen and all the bells and whistles.
