I am installing new pot lights in my soffits this weekend and want to have the ability to automatically turn on at sunset and turn off at my choosing. I already have the Lutron switch installed that came with the pico remote. Should I just purchase the Lutron bridge or look at other options?

Personally I'd get a wink hub. No more expensive than the lutron bridge and you can use it to control all kinds of smart things in addition to lutron.

Get a smart bridge pro. You will be able to tie it into a 3rd party automation system down the road if you decide to

So this would control the lutron switch just like the Lutron bridge?

And much much much more.
Download the Wink app and try it out. It's free.

Will do. Seems like Wink got some bad reviews on most tech sites but maybe that is just the complainers.

You want something that is bullet proof stick with Lutron. Like I said earlier go with the Pro, if you want to expand you can. You get what you pay for with this stuff.

I've had mine a couple years and while there are a few quirks with a few of the different things it supports the lutron integration has been absolutely rock solid.
I don't think you'd regret buying the Wink and worst case scenario if you pick one up at home depot you could always return it and get your money back if you hate it.
I think you'll appreciate how easy it is to use and the fact you can buy non lutron switches as well and everything will work together seamlessly.
... Of course I am the person who started the big wink thread on here...
