Looking at this Amazon listing, currently have a 5 year old 40 inch Samsung, could use an upgrade.

Just got that exact model for the office last week and I'm fairly impressed. Also, I got it from best buy for the same price.
I haven't been able to get WiDi to work with our old touchscreen laptop yet but everything else seems fine.

How well do the netflix and hulu apps work? I'd also read that it is Plex compatible through the app store. I ordered one of those Amazon Fire Stick deals, but if Web OS can handle everything I'll save that for the outdoor projector.

Like I said, it's for the office, but I can check it out at lunch. It automatically detects and loads DLNA streams so it will pick up the Plex server. I'll dig around a little and let you know what I find out.

Thanks man, don't go through too much trouble though.

No problem. I've been playing with it at lunch trying to get the WiDi to work anyway. I don't mind playing around with the apps; however, I no longer have Hulu. I'll still check Netflix and Vudu.

I tried Netflix, Vudu and Amazon. They all loaded and played/resumed very fast, as quick as my Roku 3 at home. The biggest issue is navigation with the remote. Netflix allows you to click on the spot you want to jump to on the timeline but the others required clicking on FF buttons.
