Does anyone have one or know anyone that does?

I'm looking to get myself a little gift this year, and I've been eyeing 3D printers for the past few months.

If I were to pick on up, what should I get (under $800-900ish) and what cool shite should I print with it?

Another 3D printer so you could return the first one.

They are a huge PITA, and basically the main cost (like regular printers) is consumables. One of the ones we have at school requires you to use these little trays to print on. Well, they are single-use trays and cost $16 a piece. It also wastes a lot of the plastic heating it up and calibrating the thing

We also have one of those glue ones, but never use it

I have seen what the sub $1000 printers can do and it honestly looks like shite. I am waiting for prices to drop more.
