Wife has a Latitude E4310. We want to stream LSU baseball to the Panasonic Flatscreen TV. Laptop has no HDMI connection, the TV does. Is there an adapter or something we can purchase that will make that connection?

Thanks in advance...

There are S-video adapters but you probably would be better served getting a newer laptop with built-in HDMI or, better yet, a Roku box. Scaling from a laptop to the big screen IMO doesn't give you a satisfactory viewing experience.

It doesn't look like that one has a display port, only VGA out..

Does the TV have a VGA connection..?

Yes, it's a 42" that has both VGA and HDMI...I was hoping there would be an adapter that would provide an HDMI output (video and audio).

...and we aren't ready to upgrade yet. Waiting on W-10 to make it's appearance. We've tried W-8 and 8.1 on 3 different laptops. They all went back.

Umm..If 8.1 didn't work on them, why do you think 10 will..?

Just run the 10 preview on one and see how it goes
