got my KS8000 not long ago and have been kinda underwhelmed with its picture quality, at least until I fired up netflix/chromecast. wow, big difference from what i was seeing. crisp, clear HD picture with great colors and lighting.
and then I switch back to cable and it's the same dim/less than stellar quality that I was having before.
Is anyone else having this issue with comcast? or even any cable provider?

i'm not impressed with the shite comcast is pumping downstream to my TV.
netflix/youtube/kodi via fireTV or built-in TV app looks WAY better.

To see what kind of truly spectacular picture this TV can produced, get you a 4k blu-ray player and HDMI cable, then pop in a 4k dvd and be amazed. You can't based picture quality on shitty streaming services and/or crappy internet speeds.

i don't have comcast, but my cable provider's hd quality isn't that impressive either. it's fine, but it's grainy. some channels are better than others.
