Yeah, half the time the V20 is faster and half the time the Pixel XL is.
I knew Qualcomm was spewing their typical PR bullshite when they claimed the SD821 was a 10% performance improvement over the 820.
The V20 scored a 400 point higher Antutu score too.

Yep, right now I am really happy with picking the v20 over the pixel. I just hope they can get root on it so I can add google assistant later. Pixel owners can root all they want, but they can't add the quad dac. That is one of the best features added to a phone in years. I can't believe nobody else has done that yet.

That is so confusing on the note 8. They will let note 7 users upgrade free. How the hell is anyone going to do that if they have already traded their phone in? It's not like they will be out next week.
The communication to the public on this whole debacle was and is still a disaster. Two days ago they are killing their note line, now you can trade your 7 in for a free note 8. So do they want people to turn in their bomb devices now or wait until their note 8 comes out? What a cluster frick.

I don't think it's the note 7 that they'll let you trade in. I believe it's the s7 that was given as an option to the note7's recall. I think they said trade in the s7 and receive the note 8 half off, if I recall correctly..

Speed tests just seem pretty unreliable. I've seem speed tests online where other phones were just as fast as the Pixel. You know more about that stuff than I do, though. I just thought it was interesting.

TMO was supposed to release on the 28th, but I've had mine since the 19th. I think they're on backorder, though, just from seeing comments online.
I'm digging it. Wish I could find a tempered glass screen protector that didn't cause a halo effect, though. 0/2 so far in my efforts.

Have you tried any of those that have the black edges/bezels built in? I ordered one from Orzly for my Pixel. I'm hoping that masks where you can see the Halo.

Think we'll be stuck with it, unless someone comes up with an option to root; personally I'll just leave it as is.
Went to best buy on Sunday to see if they had a display so I could get my hands on it, but they didn't. I'll wait a little more and keep looking at the reviews then pull the trigger.

Someone posted on reddit that the camera glass breaks easily. If I weren't on such a poopoo phone I would find it.

No, I have been careful with it though. I am going to find a slim case that has just enough of a lip around the camera glass to prevent this.

I just got it in, I don't like it. The screen is SOOOO far behind the Note that I cannot take it. I also don't like the clunky interface and to me the camera is shitty. I will be returning it for the S7 Edge.
