IT Folks - Can't Access Certain Websites After Power Failure?

Power went out this afternoon during a storm. While everything was back up and running an hour later, I noticed that I'm unable to connect to certain websites on any of my Internet browsers (Safari & Chrome included). I'm on a Mac and tried pinging the sites to no avail - the request was timed out.
I cleared the cache, unplugged the modem, restarted, etc. and am still not able to access certain sites. Any ideas?

You may have a problem with your DNS server. Go to LINK and put in the website that you can't access. It will return the IP address for that site. Then put the IP address in your address bar instead of the name and see if you can get to the website. If so then you will need to fix your DNS server config.
