I realize cable cutters have ways to watch stuff (Netflix, Hulu, etc) but is there a way to stream specific networks or games on the TV? My cable bill is the highest bill I have and I'm tired of 90% of the channels being complete trash. The only things I watch are Root Sports (for local Houston sports) and NFL football. Am I stuck with cable in order to watch these?

Tried a digital antenna on my TV recently and couldn't get it to pick anything up so that's out.

Think your cable bill is expensive, go to the game.

+1. Switched to Sling TV last month and got the sports add on. Saved close to $100 on our bill this month.

If root sports is a channel you must have you're stuck with paying for cable. There's no streaming option for this channel and the MLB and NBA streaming packages block the games that are only broadcast by root sports.

Root Southwest doesn't exist anymore. It's now called At&t SportsNet Southwest.

I was on a Promo, then called and said I was going to cancel and took another $15 off for the rest of my contract, I have like 5 months left.

Most stations have apps too. Fox and NBC for sure do. Not sure on CBS
