Is there a way to stop pages on the iPhone from refreshing everytime?

I have two pages on safari open, one being TD and one being an article I was copying and pasting into a TD new thread. After copying and pasting and giving my own commentary, I switched back to the article for one last little excerpt, switch back to TD and the damn thing refreshed and erased everything I had written. This happens all the time.

Is there a setting to change this? It never used to do this, and I don't remember changing any settings.

has nothing to do with it, I dont have bg apps up and it still does it all the time

I think it has more to do with Safari being a shite browser on mobile devices

Always going to be a problem with 1GB RAM.

Get the iPad Air 2. It has 2GB of RAM (only iOS product currently that has this). Safari tabs don't refresh nearly as much on this latest model of the iPad.

For the iPhone you are out of luck. Even the iPhone 6 only has 1 GB of RAM. However there are very strong rumors that the iPhone 6S and 6S+ that will be launched in September this year will come with 2GB RAM. That should alleviate most of the tab and app refresh issues that currently plague most iOS devices with 64-bit processors.

I've had this problem before, so if I'm ever leaving the TD posting page I click "preview" so that what I've typed so far is saved.

Simpe solution is to type out and paste everything in the email or notes app that does not refresh and go back and forth between the news article and the notes/email app.

When you're done, copy everything and paste into TD thread and take care of formatting there if needed.
