Is Textra Broken For Anyone Else?

I have the free version with ads. Ever since I upgraded to lollipop on my GS4 Textra constantly freezes, crashes, and binds up my entire phone. It's the only app that is doing this. Everyday it seems in the appstore there is an update but nothing has fixed the crashing thus far. Is this their subtle way of forcing you to pay for their app? Either way it looks like hangouts is where I'm headed.

I have an S5 and I've been seeing the same issue. Although, the last update seemed to help some of the bugs.

There's a known issue with the latest SwiftKey update. I got a text from Textra saying they are working on resolving it. I don't know if you're using SwiftKey as your keyboard, but if you are, switch to Google keyboard and see if that helps.

The free version has been fine on the Note 4 I think it just updated like 2 days ago as well tat may fix any issues you had.

I paid for it and the SwiftKey update was causing it to freeze and crash repeatedly. I haven't had any issue since I switched to a different keyboard. Hopefully they'll push an update soon, as I prefer SwiftKey's keyboard.

You either have to stop using swiftkey or stop using textra.

I use Textra and Swiftkey. I was having a myriad of problems (including this Textra + Swiftkey problem) with my Nexus 6 because I had it rooted and it was still running 5.0 
I decided to unroot it and factory wipe it, then upgraded up to 5.1.1. I don't have problems using paid Textra + Swiftkey now.

I had to stop using Swiftkey after lollipop. Then, I had to stop using Swype because the same stuff happened. Now, I'm stuck with this shitty stock keyboard

I use swiftkey + textra on my htc one m8 without any issues
