I don't get this either.

First of all, any OS that isn't getting updates and is connected to the internet is a Russian hacker's dream.

Second, Windows 8 is fine, but I am looking forward to 10. I run 7 on everything except my ROG that has 8.1.

Third, I wouldn't really want to run Win 7 on a computer with 1GB RAM.

I personally wouldn't invest anything into this Dell.
