I've got an iPhone 6, went on vacation to Hawaii, on the last day there, I lost cellular signal and it just says "searching" up in the top left corner. I can connect to wifi but I cannot get or send calls/texts.

How do I fix this?

TIA

Have you done a hard reset by holding down the power and home buttons for about 10 seconds(until it restarts)?

Hard reset or put the phone in airplane mode then turn off airplane mode

Ive tried both of those, hard reset and airplane mode, and neither have worked.

I've done everything on the Verizonwireless website including removing and reinserting the SIM card to no avail. The only next step suggested is to do a complete factory reset.

I backed up my phone to icloud this morning. If I do a factory reset, will icloud restore my phone to this last update?

iCloud back ups are always iffy. I would plug it into a machine.

Which iPhone do you have? If it supports wifi calling enable that and try calling *228

Same issue here. I backed up. Reset network settings and everything else suggested. Brought it in and got a new phone since it was still under warranty. You Might want to do the same.

Just go into Verizon and get a new SIM card, they are free and you'll be good to go

I would suggest not doing an iCloud backup.

I had to replace mine a few months ago and backed it up in the store to iCloud. It told me it completed successfully, but I was unable to find that backup when I did a restore on the new phone.

Also go into the network settings in the phone; make sure it is still connected to Verizon or see if you have to update network settings.
