iPhone 5s problems after iOS8 attempt

Okay so I tried to update my phone to iOS8 earlier today via usb in my laptop. After about two hours of waiting it says that there's an error and sends my phone to the screen where it says 'plug into itunes' and now it's stuck on the white screen with an apple logo, then the screen goes blue, and it goes back to the white screen over and over. iTunes won't recognize it when I plugged it in. Any help is appreciated
