iOS update has ruined my iPad

I mostly watch YouTube videos off of the iPad. But now, I can't change the playback speed at all. And scrolls by is a pain in the arse.
Anyone know how to fix the issue?

iOS 11 seems to def has issues or my 6+ is long in the tooth.

I have an iphone 8 and have experienced bugs ranging from notifications of voicemails days after they hit my inbox and were deleted to imessage opening in the middle of my text history with a contact rather than the latest message.
My watch (series 2) has had similar issues.

Exactly the reason I have not updated mine. I am afraid its going to bog it down so bad Ill have to buy a new one. And for what I use it for, IOS 8 is rolling just fine

The upgrade to the current A11 chip in the new iphones is massive so iOS really drags arse on old phones.

My 7+ is getting worse every day. Basic functions like calls and navigating the contacts and voicemails are painfully slow. CarPlay is worse. Missing calls all together and I’m in sales so that’s NOT GOOD.

Ipad Pro is fine but the battery does run down more quickly. Not substantially but noticeable
