Internet trouble can't connect to some pages

Please help me out. My iPad is having trouble connecting to the internet. Tigerdroppings won't connect and neither will the App Store. Not having problems on my phone. Some other sites come up and some don't. I just switched to u-verse from dsl last week. The homepna light is blinking and I am not sure if that has always done that. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Nevermind. Now it seems to be working.

I'd try it on another network. That way you'll know if it's the device or your network.
