I have an LG G4 and this has to be the worst battery life I've ever had. You can replace the battery in this phone so I actually have two of them that I switch out every now and then. Even still, it's so bad. I keep off my location services, I constantly close background apps, I deleted the Facebook and messenger apps that are drains, and nothing helps.

Today I had my phone in my pocket from 7-11 am without ever touching it. During this time, I received two texts. In that four hour span of not even touching the phone, my battery dropped from 100% - 52%. I might as well get a flip phone because I can't do anything on this shite anyway.

It seems like every phone that I've purchased has had this same issue.

Is there any phone out there that actually has a good battery or is there something I can do to remedy this shite?

The battery life on my OnePlus 3 is pretty good. I can go through the day and I'm on my phone a good bit. Charges really fast too.

My phone has shitty battery life as well. If you have horrible cellular reception where you work, that can burn a battery pretty quickly. Maybe try airplane mode with Wi-Fi calling enabled for the time being if reception is spotty.

My cell reception is pretty good at work. It also takes forever to charge. I got home around 2:55 (battery on 15%) and charged my phone until I left to go to the game at 5:15, and it only got up to 45%. Then at the game, I checked Twitter twice and ESPN a couple of times for the Pelicans score and I was at 3% when I got back home.

Can you turn on location services without the phone heating up to 300° and draining 10% per minute?

I bought a Motorola Z Play last week. Battery life is excellent. 50 hrs with light use. Easily get through the day with moderate use.

I'm more than sure that every phone is designed to last a full day on a charge with "typical" use. If your phone doesn't, then it has a problem, and the problem usually boils down to software. It could be an app, or it could be deeper in the system, but something is probably misbehaving. It could even be software/firmware that can't be touched with a standard reset, I believe.

I'm just saying it could just be bad luck, and I'm sure that most people with the G4 have no problem making it through the day.

iPhone 6 - 2 years old. Lasts all day with minimal usage. Can drain it in about 4 hrs if I use it heavily.

Could you post a screenshot of your battery chart and battery history screen?

I feel you man. My Nexus 6P ended up being useless because of the battery life. It would also turn off if it said I had anywhere from 20-30% left. I got the Pixel XL 2 weeks ago and I keep having to pinch myself because I don't remember what it was like to have 90% left after a lot of use.

I have always had LG phones and the battery has been horrible with everyone of them. Switched to an Iphone and never had battery issues again.

I had the same issue with my LG g5.

When it updated to 7.0 nougat I think it miraculously fixed the issue.

I have the G4 also. It's the worst phone I've ever had for this and many other reasons.

My 7+ has a pretty damn skrong battery. It'll last a whole day majority of the time with moderate to heavy use.
