I'm in Lafayette, and have 5 lines. That $90/month special is hard to pass up....

Depends on how much you use it for data..can be slow at times..good voice coverage..everywhere I go,I have decent data..I travel from Avondale to Livonia on the west side of the river and have pretty good service all the way..I go to Lafayette sometimes and like I said before decent data..voice and text work well..

I think we average about 10ish gigs per month..everyone is knowledgeable about using WiFi.
But the plan is unlimited for $90. I use Waze on hiway, weather app, etc.

I've used it in Baton Rouge a while back and it sucked.
The network may have improved since my last visit, but I doubt it as Sprint has the lowest Capital Expenditure out of all 4 national carriers. It basically means they're halting major network improvements nationwide. I would only join Sprint if I was looking to save money.

I use waze also and travel from Avondale to Alexandria with waze and to Lafayette also..have been able to use in most places..sprint doesn't work well in Grant parish though..lol

Almost impossible to get a signal indoors. My phone would be useless at home without wifi.

Try it. You have 14 days, I believe.
Works for me. I'm adding my daughters to take advantage of 4 lines for $90.00.
It's not as good as Verizon, however it works for us. And we have been with them for 8 + years.

Sprint in NOLA metro is as solid as anyone. All of Sprint active spectrum is in use and the site spacing is excellent.
Sprint in BR is terrible probably some of the worst coverage in the country. They just don't have the number of sites needed for an area that size and they have neglected BR in terms of site upgrades to the newer spectrums being used.
Overall though in SELA for general use it is worth it and absolutely usable for the price in my opinion
