Just got my bill from Cox. I noticed a $5 increase so I called them up to see what the deal was. Sure enough they confirmed the rate increase and gave me the usual sales talk that "I've been a wonderful customer". Wondering if this increase is to offset customers cutting cable.

BTW, my bill is 60 a month now.

I'll never get over this logic...people leave because we suck so let's raise prices on loyal customers who stick around

It has been a note on your bill for a few months now. You know the second page with all the writing that you just look past.

I was going to cut cable off but keep Internet until they gave me a good deal on my package.

I pay $73 for 50 down with Cox. I was going to up my speed to 200 down online but they added a $50 charge for professional install. Guess I'll have to call and try to get around that absurd charge.

I'm gonna be switching to this soon, will be paying the same 77, but for 45 instead of the current 100mb I currently get with Cox and am not excited about it.

But my area is apparently on this list for ATT's gigabit...but we'll see how long that takes.

$40 for 50mb. It's a promo for the first year, not sure what it bumps to but I've heard they don't budge once the promo is up.
