I started a new job recently, mostly work from home, and they have a different phone setup. I now have a phone that needs to be plugged into a phone jack, however my house doesn't have any. My internet router is all located in the attic, so I obviously can't use the phone up there. Running a line from my attic to office isn't an option.
Any devices I can use to create a wireless connection? Any other thoughts?

Have you thought about some sort of VOIP solution? Maybe Google Voice/Hangouts/Skype? The added benefit is the number can go with your phone.
I occasionally work from home and we have a Cisco Jabber client that works anywhere. Even when sitting at my desk I use the Soft Phone and a Bluetooth headset.
