Help me buy a new Router

I'm looking to replace my linksys 2.4ghz router that is about 7 years old. I need something with some more wireless range and faster speeds. I just purchased a DOCSIS 3.0 modem that is working really well, but my wireless seems to be struggling a bit.

2 choices:
if you use tmobile phone service, you can get a top-of-the-line ASUS for free. do this.
second, if you dont use tmobile, grab that $80 deal (i think hu flung just reposted it) on the AC56U.
its a helluva router and simple to flash with the merlin firmware.
it has more features and support than any other brand going.
