Right now I'm considering just adding a line to my service for $30/month.

Pretty much regular smartphone. I didn't know if there was a better option than signing a 2 year deal.

if you don't wanna sign a contract you can get a some pretty decent phones for under $200

What provider? Those moto gs for 99 bucks are a great deal.
