Foscam issues

I got a Foscam FI9821W v2 this weekend and got it set up, but I'm having issues with it. I keep having to reset it. The first time, Foscam support told me that I shouldn't have it running on port 80 because it could be interfered with. We moved it to :8090 and it was working fine, but again after a few hours it just disconnected. Same thing as before.
Any thoughts from you guys who know more about this shite than I do? It's set up to use a static IP, so I know that's not the problem.

So younhave it hardwired?
Computer won't let me link. But surf this board for a topic on wireless cameras. There is foscam info in there with links to foscam threads.
Some warned of distance from router

Wireless? What channel is your router set to? Foscams have trouble with channel 6. Try changing your wifi channel for grins.
When you say it's working fine what does that mean? Are you getting smooth motion or is it jerky? If jerky changing the channel may help and also adjusting the antenna on the Foscam.
Finally move it close to the router and observe for awhile to see if you have same issue with string signal.

I found out that these have an issue with 5Ghz channel being broadcast. Not that they cannot connect to it, that it cannot be broadcast AT ALL by the router. I only had one device using it, but I will get it hardwired asap.
