F-150 SYNC

well the Sync feature in my F-150 is acting up. It shows the message "initializing BT try again" when I try to pair with my phone, and the phone asks for a PIN number but the truck isn't displaying one. Any suggestions?

I've found it to be very buggy in newer trucks. In my 09 F150 it worked pretty good, not great. In my 12 F150 it's hot garbage.

Sync disables my dictation on my iPhone... so I can't dictate texts or emails. I have to pull over and type them... anybody have a solution to this ??

I had to do this last week. Delete the device from Sync, and reconnect it as a new device. YouTube helps.
