I have a few files each month where we have a rounded rectangle shape where we put some text inside. What we normally do is copy the prior month's text, and then update it with current month and numbers. The only problem is the text formatting changes when I paste it into the box. Right click > Edit Text, then Ctrl+V. We have Arial font at 10pt, but it always pastes in as Calibri at 11pt. Is there something simple I'm missing to where it would keep my formatting upon pasting? No big deal if not, but thought I'd ask if something simple would save me from changing formatting on a few dozen text boxes each month.

After you format it the way you want right click the shape border and left click on set as default shape

Paste without formatting?

Instead of keyboard short cutting it, right click - paste - there should be several paste options. Choose the one that keeps it the same
